Signed by Michael Stewart on the half-title page and inscribed to former owner, "Jan. 19, 1970 / To Dick Maurice / Thank you for a very pleasant 26 minutes." Maurice was a journalist and local talk-show host in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bound in publisher's orange cloth lettered in white on the spine. Near Fine with several small, light stains to cloth along bottom edge, light softening to spine ends. In a Very Good+ dust jacket with light rubbing, fading to red ink on the spine and some edge wear. First printing book format of the hit Tony Award-winning musical play, which originally starred Dick Van Dyke and Chita Rivera. A surprisingly uncommon book, and even more so signed.
