Surviving the septicemia the book documents his fears and struggles but also the many blessings he witnesses in his world of cancer. This newfound awareness keeps him optimistic through his ostomy reversal, abdominal reconstruction, and lung and liver surgeries. The book is filled with extraordinary optimism while displaying the deepest feelings of a person navigating the challenges of cancer.
