Tapped by maverick coffee mogul Calvert James (James Brolin) to inspect a crucial crop of Thai coffee beans, Brian Chandler (Kip Pardue) arrives in Bangkok, and meets his contact Ticha (Mamee Nakprasit). On their way back to Ticha's southern Thailand farm, the combative pair sense a spark that is quickly recognized by Ticha's friends Werner (Spencer Garrett) and Mook (Kalorin Nemayothin).
