The year 2021 has been a strong one for soprano Sabine Devieilhe, with several strong new albums that one hopes will not be lost amid the general pandemic dismay. Devieilhe seems to be able to do a great variety of things well, not only French Baroque music but Mozart, Italian cantatas, and even French Romantic chansons. Her voice is bright and attractive in every register, and she doesn't show any strain in the high notes.
