Painfully honest
This is the story of Teddy Atlas, boxing trainer and television commentator. It is a cut above most sports biographies because Atlas is painfully honest about his family, his career, and, most of all, his personal flaws. There are fascinating recollections of famous names like Mike Tyson and George Foreman, but Atlas devotes as much time to obscure incidents and people, good and bad, who influenced his life. Atlas' road to redemption is never easy or certain, but , for that reason, his story is all the more inspirational.
