Near Fine in Very Good jacket. (Brian Oswald) Donn Byrne (1889-1928) was born in America, but grew up in Ireland and was a native speaker. He was prolific, and his romantic novels became quite popular before his premature death in an automobile accident. This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition. Bright reddish-orange cloth binding, ruled and kettered in black. Clean text; 250 pages. Just two (miniscule) tears at the head of the spine, else Fine. The dustjacket is complete and unclipped. The spine has darkened and there is a 1/4" chip at the head; a 1" tear on the front cover is closed. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 12mo-over 6¾"-7¾" tall.
