Accompanied by Christoph Weinhart, who is alert to the many changes in tempo and nuances of expression, Lungu plays with great energy and fire, and the moods vary from the sweet lyricism of Ioan Lungu's Träumerei to the throbbing passion of Jo Knümann's Rumänisch.
