This was an easy-read story about a baby who was the sole survivor of an Airbus plane crash. Nicknamed "Dragonfly" by the media, the story revolved around a private detective's eighteen year search to uncover the true identity of the infant to determine who was her rightful parental family. One family was poor and the other was rich. The story began in pre-DNA 1980, which did not enable an immediate solid identification, but ends in a post-DNA time period when an identity can be confirmed through blood testing and will give the reader an unexpected surprise ending. The book was basically a simple and entertaining read, although a few passages were amateurish and inconceiveable in content, such as when Malvina used stones to pelt the three men and was able to thwart a sexual attack. Doubtful that I would recommend for book club reading because it doesn't really provide for a lot of meaningful talking points.
