Seller's Description:
Very Good in Very Good jacket. Signed by Author(s) Dustwrapper, pp. 264, bw ills. Bunny Austin was a talented tennis player and British Davis Cup team member when they won the cup four years running from 1933-36. He married the actress Phyllis Konstam, and this book is not only the story of their careers but how they came to actively embrace the ideals of the Moral Re-Armament movement. The book bears the inscription " To Paul and Margot. Remembering our meeting in Kandy-with our best wishes for the future " It is signed in the same hand Phyllis and Bunny Austin, and I rather think this is his wifes hand rather than Bunny from the examples I have researched on the net. There are one or two other examples of books being signed by her on their behalf. Wrapper is a little edgeworn with several small splits. Contents nice and clean. VG Size: 64mo-up to 3" tall.
