Alex is house-sitting for a family who wants to get away for the weekend to forget a murder that happened in the house next door. After a series of plot twists involving mistaken identities, deception and diamond theft, Alex and minor-league criminal Mickey (Michael Masden) fall in love just in time to confront the killer of the neighbor and solve the crime. All this could have been both romantic and exciting, but the overly complicated plot and the cliched, unconvincing dialogue makes the film both confusing and unbelievable from beginning to end.
