I read A General's Life at the same tiime I was reading D-Day by another author. Being a retired Army Officer with some knowledge of what happened during the invasion of Europe, I found General Bradleys book to be the morst accurate and interesting account of the events that led to the end of the war in Europe in May of 1945.
